Valentine’s Day is coming up and there's one thing on everyone’s mind: delicious holiday-themed treats. With treats such as brownies, cookies, candy, and more- Loveland High School’s student-run newspaper (The Roar) is here to satisfy all your sweet cravings. Everyone says the way into someone’s heart is through food- so stop by the bake sale and grab some sweet treats to win over that special someone!

The bake sale will take place at Loveland City Hall on Saturday, February 15th, the day after Valentine’s Day. Because this holiday is so close, desserts will be themed to match the occasion. Pink hearts, cupid arrows, and other symbols of love will characterize this event, so bring your partner, friend, or anyone you love and have a fun outing while supporting a special part of your community.

Running a newspaper is not just about writing; so much more such as printing, distributing, and researching goes into making the fun and informative articles students read, which requires a great deal of money. This bake sale helps to cover these costs as well as lifting up Loveland’s community and providing a fun (and delicious) event for anyone in downtown Loveland.

To help support The Roar produce more physical copies of the newspaper, simply buying a tasty brownie or cookie can make a big difference. For people not interested in these baked goods, even a small donation works wonders to help. This event not only makes money for The Roar but also fosters school spirit in the community and uplifts people through the common joy of cheap food, so stop by the bake sale Saturday and help The Roar!
